Set up your firm admin account

If you are interested in a turnkey solution or custom solutions for your firm, please or contact us.

If our Professional plan works for you, you can use our self-serve signup and get going in minutes:

  1. Go to app-v2.bitsyadvisor.com/register and enter your own details (as a firm admin). Don't worry, we'll ask for more firm details later. Click Create Account.

  2. Check your email for a verification code from Bitsy and enter it on the following screen. Click Confirm. If you are not seeing the email with the code and are using Gmail or Google Suite, please check your Promotions or Spam folders.

  3. Your admin account will now be created. You will be able to manage firm settings and billing, invite other firm admins and team members, and onboard clients on an advisor's behalf. Next, continue on to the next section to set up your firm.

Set up your firm

Once you have set up your firm admin account, you will be met with the firm onboarding questionnaire:

  1. On the Basics screen, enter details about your firm. The general firm contact email will prefill with your email, so this might be a good thing to change to a generic support or info email address as it will be visible on client dashboards. Here you can also select whether you are also an advisor or not (which will allow you to add clients you manage and receive notifications when it is time for the client's advisor to review a form or sign a document.

  2. On the Plan screen, select whether you'd like to be billed monthly or annually and the plan you'd like to choose. At this time, Enterprise plans will need to be configured by us, so you will likely be selecting a monthly or yearly Professional/Per Advisor plan.

  3. Click Get Started on the plan you'd like to select, and enter how many advisors you would like to add to your Bitsy plan (this is just to start-- you can change this later).

  4. You will be redirected to Stripe, where you can enter your payment details. Once you are done, you will be sent back to Bitsy.

  5. On the Integrations screen, you can configure your other services now or do this later.

  6. On the Team page, you can start inviting additional team members (firm admins to help manage firm settings or advisors to manage their own clients) or do this later.

  7. Click through the final pages and you are all set to start using Bitsy!
